Hi, here is some feedback on the latest version of ch. 2s second bucket.
There are some good changes from the previous draft. Your own voice is much more present herethis is clear and put in your own language. The material is described clearly and well. In most places you responded to my feedback on the need for additional depth and increased length. The total page count here feels about right. Some additional sources have been added (but are not found in the list of references on the last two pages. Please add them.)
The attached PDF shows in the left margin of each paragraph the number of sources the paragraph uses. Throughout this bucket, there are only two paragraphs which have more than one citation. The goal is to share with us multiple scholars who have contributed to your thinking and who have useful information. An example of what is being looked for here is your paragraph at the top of page 9, which has four citations. Find and incorporate more sources. In the right margins, I have put an S at points where I think you might cite new sources.
Related to this is how fully you are using the sources you do have. I counted the number of times each of your 10 sources was cited in this bucket. Of these Bell and Kozlowski was used 6 times, Jarvenpaa and Leidner was used 9 times. Two others were used 3 or 4 times, and six of the other eight were used just 1 or 2 times. You are over-using two sources and not drawing enough on other ones. For the next draft, increase use of the sources you find in order to demonstrate the breadth and depth of scholarship that is so essential in doctoral work.
