Creating TM and Exporting files

The purpose of this assignment is to get the students familiar with creating and sharing their TMs.

Technical requirement:

1- Internet.

2- Microsoft Word.

3- Microsoft Excel.

4- Sample Files (Provided in resources folder:

– TRA420-Sample1-EN & TRA420-Sample1-AR

– TRA420-Sample2-EN & TRA420-Sample2-AR

As you practiced in class, go through the NEW resources, and:

• Use these resources to add new Translation Units into your previously created TM in Phrase. (HINT: Use Alignment function as many times as you need)
• Add the Aligned files to your previously created TM on Phrase.
• Export your Final TM in both file formats (TMX and XLSX). Then send the following files to your instructor:
  • TM in TMX format.
  • TM in XLSX format.

You will be evaluated on the following items:

• Was the student able to submit all the requested deliverables? (1Pts)
• Was the student able to submit the files in the correct formats? (1pts)
• Was the student able to use all the resources to populate their TM?
• Was the TM checked and did not have any misalignments? (2pts)
