When applying Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs in a facility, the manager need to understand the needs and how they affect motivation. Each need builds on the last, allowing a worker to feel more fulfilled which in turn encourages motivation and creative thinking.

Using Maslows Hierarchy of Needs, identify how each lower-level upper-level needs can be addressed by effective facility layout. (LO4)
