What is Algebra?
Algebra is a branch of mathematics that uses letters and symbols to represent numbers and quantities. These letters are called variables, and they stand in for values we dont know yet or that can change.
Instead of working only with numbers like 3 + 5, algebra lets us write things like:
- x + 5 = 10
Here, x is the unknown number we want to find.
