Assemble a single cohesive document containing all components of your research proposal. Confirm all elements of the proposal are present using the following outline:

• Problem Statement or Hypothesis
• Research Questions
• Literature Review
• Research Methodology/Design
• Data Collection and Analysis Plan
• Conclusion
• References

There are several sections of the data collection and analysis section that include very specific statements and decisions that are not common knowledge and are without citation. I have left annotations on several of those sections.

Each of the sections of the data analysis and collection plan are subsections of the overall plan and therefore should be identified as level 2 headings, not level 1.

Your plan is good, but it needs support from the literature on data collection and analysis in the form of citations and references.

You have a good start. I would like to see deeper analysis and discussion in your paragraphs. Compare and contrast the literature to consider how each article support the other (or doesn’t) for each theme you have identified.

A good rule of thumb when writing paragraphs is to think of them like a sandwich. Start with the topic statement as the first sentence. Use the next 2-4 sentences to support the assertion you made in your first sentence; these are the sentences with citations. Conclude with a sentence that brings the discussion to a close and helps usher in the next sentence.
