Week 3 Policy Paper

For this Assignment, you are to write a policy paper that demonstrates your understanding of the all hazards concept and provides a critical analysis of this concept at each level of government. Directions: For this assignment, complete the following steps: Download the attached Assignment template [download] to write your paper. Locate sources to aid in writing your paper. Develop a policy paper demonstrating your understanding of the all hazards concept and apply this to the local, state, and national levels. Submission Instructions: Your paper must be at least 34 pages long (the Title and Reference pages do not count towards the minimum requirement). Include/State and Introduction and Conclusion. Scholarly and credible references should be used. At least five (5) scholarly articles are required for this Assignment. Scholarly sources include peer-reviewed articles, government publications, and academic texts. Type in Times New Roman, 12 point, and double space. Students will follow the current APA Style as the sole citation and reference style used in written work submitted as part of coursework. Points will be deducted for using Wikipedia or encyclopedic-type sources. It is highly advised to utilize books, peer-reviewed journals, articles, archived documents, etc. All submissions will be graded using the Assignment rubric. Your paper is to be original and written in your own words and not recycled and the use of AI (artificial intelligence) in writing your paper is not allowed. That includes AI tools such as Grammarly and ChatGPT. After writing and saving your original draft without making any changes you can go back and use a tool to edit your paper. You can submit both the original draft” and your final edited version.
