APA Paper Instructions 1. Select a vulnerable population from your clinical site. Select a current peer reviewed journal article (within the last five years) related to your vulnerable population to use as a source for your project. 2. Identify a goal for the vulnerable population based on Healthy People 2030. 3. Explain two interventions to achieve the goal identified. These interventions will be from the Healthy People 2030 site. 4. Include at least two roles of the nurse that would assist in the implementation of the chosen interventions and thoroughly explain the plan for implementation. (Review Unit 2 from your Mental Health Course for Roles of the Nurse in Community Oriented Nursing) 5. The paper is worth 30 points of the course grade and will be submitted via the Safe Assignment feature in Bb. Using the Safe Assignment feature, it allows the student to view originality reports and understand the importance of submitting original work. If your Safe Assignment score is above 20%, the student is responsible to correct the areas before submission of the paper. Please refer to the Plagiarism | Purdue OWL handout to avoid any chance of plagiarism. 6. Any student who scores less than 80% on the paper will be required to revise and resubmit the paper. A max score of 80% (24/30) will be given on the second attempt. If the student does not achieve 80% on the second attempt, then the highest score of the 2 attempts will be utilized.A maximum of two attempts will be allowed. 7. The Scholarly paper will be accepted for up to five days following the original due day. A one point score deduction will be taken for each day the paper is late. After being five days late, the paper will no longer be accepted. 8. Students are expected to follow Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) Tools in the Course found in the course syllabus. APA Paper Outline Introduction – a brief summary of the components included in the paper Body – follow the outline below and explain each concept in paragraph form. Use a new paragraph for each new section using transition sentences between each paragraph. Label each paragraph utilizing the subheadings listed in the rubric. 1.
