BEFORE YOU BID READ CAREFULLY
This is an Audio 2 class assignment. previous tutors already failed to deliver because they could not meet the basic requirements. Do not waste my time or yours by bidding if you cannot meet ALL of the following:
REQUIREMENT 1 PRO TOOLS ACCESS IS MANDATORY You must have access to Pro Tools and know how to use it professionally. All projects require mixing, recording, and bouncing files at 48 kHz, 24-bit. If you do not have Pro Tools or do not know how to use it, do not bid.
REQUIREMENT 2 YOU MUST BE ABLE TO SING INDIAN OR NEPALI TUNES The Final Project requires Bollywood-style music with vocals. If you cannot sing Indian or Nepali style, do not bid.
REQUIREMENT 3 YOU MUST BE A MUSIC STUDENT OR HAVE EQUIVALENT TRAINING This is not a beginner-level task. You need to understand mixing, mic techniques, MIDI production, audio compression, and stem bouncing. Hobbyists need not apply.

- 100 Mic Technique papers (make ppt on topic microphone with 10 to 12 page)

- 200 Final Project (you can make a simple music using pro tool and also give me synopsis of this project I would like more Bollywood like music) I want male voice. Make the voice of Nepali or Indian person. I would appreciate if you can make it Nepali person singing Nepali songs with some English word so that it looks like my work for final project

Project parameters
First music mixdown: Mix music project provided by instructor. Buss instrument groups
to stems, Drums, Guitars, Keyboards, Vocals etc. Make reverb buss and add Eq and
compression as needed. Bounce files to disc at 48 kHz, 24-bit files. Due September 29th.
100 Points
Mic techniques: Research mic types and positioning for Drums, guitars, vocals, and
create a three-to-five-minute vlog/ PowerPoint/ or three-to-five-page paper on what are
compressors and why do we use them. Show at least three sources. Due September 29th.

Midi Project: Make a four or more-measure beat using at least four layers of sound to be
used for a commercial or a song that you will add voice over for commercial, singing or
rapping to create a song or commercial. Bounce files to disc at 48 kHz, 24-bit files. Due
by beginning of class October 6th. 100 points
2nd Music Mix. Plan, record, and mix an original music project as a class. Record scratch
and everyone try to come up with a part to add. Research miking whatever you are going
to play, in applicable. Non musicians can attempt to play some or make other
contributions to project. Bounce files to disc at 48 kHz, 24-bit files. Due by beginning of
class January 26th. 100 Points
Audio Competition: Work in two person teams. Record and edit 30 second commercial
and two-minute news story on topic to be provided by teacher. Finish by end of class
January 26th. (50 bonus points possible)
Video Project: Video replacement project, choose and edit a 3-to-5-minute scene and
replace the audio. Show dimension and movement. Pick something that has many
sounds and layers and record voices and some of the sound effects. Bounce files as
Mov. to disc at 48 kHz, 24-bit files. Due by end of class February 9th. 100 Points.
Final Project: To be determined by teacher and each student on December 8th. You need
to plan, record, and edit a project in a field of your interest. A video project, audio short
story or music project. I will keep an open mind to any good idea that you are interested
in. You should begin work immediately and finish by the end of class on February 9th.
200 points
Final presentation, must be here to present, watch and critique other students and
present their final projects. February 23rd. 80 points
There will be time that you can record your final projects during class each week. Let me
know when you are ready to schedule time during or outside class time.
