Understanding Homeland Security

Chapter 4 of the text discusses Civil Liberties and Securing the Homeland. Throughout time, and especially after the 9/11 attacks, this country has attempted to learn as much as possible about terrorists in hopes of identifying future attacks and preventing or mitigating those attacks. Look again at some of the problems associated with gathering intelligence as it relates to civil liberties. To what extent, if any, should the government be able to look into people with the intent of thwarting a terror attack and protecting the homeland? APA Format 300 words
