The problem at my workplace is inconsistent emergency response preparedness for medically fragile students in the school setting. There is a significant problem in inconsistent emergency response preparedness for medically fragile students, particularly regarding seizure management, tracheostomy emergencies, and anaphylaxis. While emergency care plans are in place, staff members vary in their confidence and competency in responding to acute events, which may delay timely intervention and compromise student safety.
