Therianthropy: Identity vs. Mental Illness

Your proposal must be in proper MLA format (not a numbered list of short answers) with the following elements:

1. What is your research question?

2. What is your thesis statement?

3. What is known? What controversies, questions, of schools of thought are there on your topic? Who is involved, and what do they say? What do you find most interesting and significant?

4. What is at stake? Provide some background on why your research questions is relevant to others. You may be curious about the topic, but why should the rest of us care about it? How does it affect us?

5. What is the question, and what is your hunch? What is your opening question for the inquiry project? What do you want to know? Based on what you know now, what are your assumptions about answers to the question you pose?

6. Works Cited page. (This is a separate page.) Provide a list of sources you have consulted so far. Make sure your sources are credible and whenever possible, scholarly. If you need help identifying credible or scholarly sources, please let me know. You are expected to have a minimum of two (2) for your proposal.
