The study investigates the factors influencing the effectiveness of Chinese expatriates in Morocco. Under the background of growing economic cooperation between China and Morocco, it examines the performance and leave intention of expatriates and how are they impacted by language proficiency, international experience, and cross-cultural training. Moreover, Cultural Intelligence is proposed as the key mediating factor in these relationships. Data is collected via survey and interview with Chinese expatriates working in various Moroccan industries. Data is analyzed with structure equation model. The result offers a valuable insight for Chinese MNCs to optimize their expatriate selection and training process, thereby improving assignment success and supporting strategic investments in Morocco.
