Assignment 7 Technology and Social Media Purpose Understanding and ensuring appropriate use of social media should be emphasized and adhered to by the advanced practice nurse. In today’s technological society healthcare workers are losing their jobs due to poor utilization or misuse of social media for representing their organizations. The purpose of this assignment is to review some common social media benefits and barriers and to determine resources that are available to help support best practice and guidance to ensure social media is being utilized successfully, safely and appropriately. You will complete all five of these scenario reads and questions, and answer them. After completing the scenarios. You are then going to develop a PowerPoint presentation that is going to address the rationales, why you chose the answer you did. And you will support it with literature. So you wanna make sure that you are providing a rationale as to why you chose the answer you did in each scenario. You are going to support it from literature that gives you a reference to support your rationale. One scholarly, peer-reviewed reference (no older than 5 years) per scenario (total 5 for powerpoint). You include how to educate your peers and staff about the best answer for this scenario. One example of how to educate your peers and staff should be included for each of these five scenarios. And then a key reflection point for the scenario that will support your student role or your role as the Advanced Practice Leader in social media. So again, it includes answering all five of the questions from the five scenarios provided. And then creating a PowerPoint presentation that must be addressing all five scenarios with the above area topics I just discussed. It should be concisely written and no more than ten slides – two per scenario if you really want to look at it. Now that excludes the title and the reference page. So each scenario and the information you are providing should be two slides total with content. rationale for why you chose each answer, the plan to educate staff on best practices for each scenario, and then the summary reflection should absolutely be included. That is the biggest piece of this. And what you’ve learned through these surrounding each scenario, what learning occurred for you when choosing your answer.
