Targeted Marketing

The findings discussed in the European Journal of Marketing‘s article, “The Future Thinking: The Role of Marketing in Healthcare , ” spoke to the importance of establishing relationships among stakeholders, patients, patient’s families, caregivers, and healthcare organizations in assigning value to a healthcare product or service. How are nurses uniquely positioned to establish relationships with and gain insight from the people they serve?

Review the findings of this study related to their overarching themes, 1) the Immediate Healthcare Future, 2) the Preferred Future, and 3) Paths to a Healthcare Future. In which of these themes did you see the need(s) you could potentially meet with your entrepreneurial product or service? How might you best market your product/service to the population you hope to serve? Provide details to support your answer.
