Supply Chain Question

Hybrid Assignments:

There are 14 Hybrid assignments. These assignments are used as learning activities that complement the class each week. Hybrid assignments, by their nature, are intended to enhance learning and are utilized as an alternative to in-class sessions for 1 day a week. These assignments are structured to take the same time as a face-to-face class. Although there is no specific length for hybrid assignments, it is expected that all hybrids are fully answered (an expectation of at least 450 words for each assignment). Please use the text box to answer the hybrid questions. Do not use attachments. Hybrids submitted that do not meet this requirement will receive a zero (re-attempts will not be allowed). For student flexibility, all 14 assignments are open for the entire term. The first 7 assignments are due prior to the break. The remaining 7 assignments are due at the end of the term. Students are free to complete these assignments early; however, students should complete at least one assignment per week to stay up with the work. Unlike Exams and quizzes, which can be made up in extreme emergencies, hybrid assignments cannot be made up if not completed on time.

If productivity of these workers is below expectation, what are good and poor ways to try to motivate them? What methods might work well with blue-collar employees but not white-collar employees, and vice versa? What methods might work well in the short run but not in the long run, and vice versa?

Hybrid #2:

Select a comparable product for NIKE and ADIDAS. Fully discuss the similarities and differences of the products and how each of the two companies approaches their marketing efforts to generate demand.
