As a way to connect the course material to the current climate of sports. These assignments will help you stay informed on current ethical trends in sport. This will be achieved by reviewing various sources of media (ex: popular media articles, videos, podcasts, etc.). To receive the 10pts students must submit a total of 4 different sources on one ethical issue occurring in sport. These sources must have been published within the last one to two years. The electronic link or paper copies must be submitted to me via the assignment upload in Canvas. In addition, each assignment must be accompanied by a 500-word summary on the ethical issue, how it connects to the topics we have covered in class (if any), and its impact on sport and society. In one single document please include the link or title of all 4 of your sources, followed by your 500-word summary. Your sources and summary should be in one document and should include the link or title of the source that I can use to find your source. If you have a paper copy of your source, please upload the paper copy along with your document that has the summaries in Canvas. You will complete this assignment 4 different times throughout the semester and each media scan must be on a different topic.
