For this discussion I would like you to reflect on what we have read about and discussed so far in the course. Consider the concept of Concentrated Disadvantage that we have discussed in class. Think about the factors that are said to contribute to concentrated Disadvantage: poverty, lack of education, lack of legal employment opportunities, high residential mobility, and physical dilapidation, for example. Think about how these factors may be related to crime and how we can work to address them. How might we combat some of these issues and how might such efforts reduce crime in these areas according to Social Disorganization, Routine Activities, and Broken Windows? I would like you to come up with potential solutions to some of these issues and connect them with the environmental theory we have discussed. Please post a discussion of these questions that is at least 250 words. Standard writing conventions apply. Please cite any sources you use with APA 7th edition citations. Once you have posted your discussion, please respond to two of your classmates posts. Please note that responses like I agree or good point are not valid responses. Please relate all discussions and responses to class content and cite any material from outside of the course. You may disagree with the ideas proposed by your peers, but you must do so in a civil manner. Do not repeat the posts of other students. Please email me with any questions or see me in class.Discussion 2: Environmental Criminology
