This assignment is to practice your information gathering, literacy skills, and organization of information in a professional document. Your summary document should have at least the following sections: 1) Introduction, 2) Regulatory Overview, 3) Interconnections Between Agencies, 4) Historical Background and Public Policy, and 5) References. All these items are included in the Hazardous Substance Summary Document template. Use this assignment as an opportunity to practice writing an APA-formatted reference for each technical document you review and analyze. You do need to provide in-text citations for this assignment where requested. You do not need to submit this assignment as an APA-formatted paper. Throughout this course and program, your work will be assessed for assignment-specific items and four general criteria as described below.
