Severe mental illness can have a detrimental impact on the individual, family, and community. Many patients with severe mental illness require a lot of support from family and community agencies.

Find one resource or agency in your community for patients with severe mental illness and use it to answer the following:– Community would be Riverside California

• What support services do they offer to patients with severe mental illness and their families?
• What evidence supports that these interventions are helpful or significant for patient outcomes?
