The nurse leader is often involved in decision making regarding the most effective nursing practice model to be implemented on a nursing unit. For this assignment, write a 500-750-word paper that includes the following:

1. Choose two of the care delivery models introduced in the assigned reading and compare and contrast the strengths and weaknesses of each.
2. Based on this analysis, choose the model you would be most likely to implement on a 24-bed medical/surgical unit and provide the rationale for your choice.
3. Include in your discussion the financial impact your decision might have on the nursing budget for the unit.
