There are four short essays required as part of the scholarship application: two Statement of Purpose essays and two Representing America Abroad and Hometown Impact essays. Each essay must not exceed a maximum of 500 words.

- Short Essay 4: Contributions to U.S. Communities and Follow-on Service Project Proposal
Please compose your essays in a word processing program and then upload the completed file below. Ensure your essays are no more than one page single-spaced, with 1-inch margins, and using Times New Roman 12-point font. Do not exceed the 500-word limit for each essay. Applications with essays exceeding the stated word limit may be deemed ineligible. Essays should be written in paragraph format, not as numbered responses to the prompts.
