Research Report

For this assignment, you will engage in original data collection by going into the community to gather public opinion data on a correctional-related topic of your choice. (topic is women in corrections) After selecting your topic, you must collect primary data through a short survey administered to a minimum of 20 people. You will then provide copies of surveys to confirm data collection. After collecting your data, you will analyze the results and compose a 9-10 page research report (excluding cover page, references, and appendices) summarizing your methodology, findings, and interpretation. This report should contextualize results around implications for correctional policy and practice. In addition to the final research report, you will be asked to create a digital narrated presentation that overviews the seminal findings from your data. In total, you will create whatever number of slides you feel adequately capture your data, then briefly narrate over top slides by explaining the material contained within them. Your presentations should not exceed 5 minutes in length
