All course resources (textbook readings, videos, and website links) thus far have provided a foundation to transition into this Research Paper Project. This first research project will allow you to investigate an issue within the disciplines of humanities or social sciences. You will decide which discipline and topic to explore. The project will ask you to identify a salient issue, formulate a research question, conduct research on the topic, and synthesize your research into a well-written essay that develops a clear thesis. This essay must be 6-8 pages in length (excluding the sources page) and contain a minimum of 6 sources. You may use either APA or MLA formatting guidelines.
