Feeding off of the week 2 assignment of Identify Research Paper: Sackett v. EPA (2023), build off of the paper and thesis question to incorporate and address the following questions.
Identify a policy issue (e.g. Clean Water Act, OSHA compliance, Clean Air Act, Chevron Doctrine, or another major environmental policy of your choice) and identify resources needed to research the topic. Students will prepare a paper which describes:
- The issue/case, and the company which will be the subject of the paper.
- Why the case is important.
- Legislation that is addressing the case.
- Available case law it affirmed or the overturn of an issue.
- Potential resolutions of the case.
- How the case has or is affecting the companys sustainability efforts.
provide one paragraph as a summary to your draft stating how disclosure requirements, business risk, and financial impacts are elements within the litigation cases you have chosen to research.
