I NEED THIS ESSAY REWRITTEN. ENG 111 Reflection Essay Throughout this semester in ENG 111, I have experienced significant growth as a reader, writer, and student. At the beginning of the course, I viewed writing mainly as something that had to be perfect in order to be good. Over time, however, I learned that writing is less about perfection and more about clearly expressing ideas, developing arguments, and allowing my voice to come through. This shift in mindset helped me grow not only academically but personally as well. One of my main writing strengths is my ability to complete assignments on time and stay organized. Throughout the semester, I consistently turned in my work by the deadline and made sure I followed the instructions carefully. Managing my time effectively allowed me to fully focus on each assignment rather than rushing at the last minute. I also believe I excel in writing essays and thesis statements. As the semester progressed, I became more confident in forming strong thesis statements that clearly stated my main argument and guided the direction of my essays. I learned how important it is for a thesis to be specific and focused, and I applied that understanding in my argumentative essay and other major writing assignments. At the same time, there are areas where I can still improve. Although I am confident in expressing my ideas, I sometimes struggle with expanding my points in enough detail or fully analyzing evidence. I now understand that strong writing requires not just stating an idea, but explaining it thoroughly and connecting it clearly to the overall argument. To make my writing stronger in the future, I plan to spend more time revising and asking myself whether each paragraph fully supports my thesis. I also want to continue improving my transitions so that my essays flow more smoothly from one idea to the next. In addition to my individual growth, I also contributed to the class environment. I actively participated in discussions, both in class and on discussion boards. I responded to my classmates posts thoughtfully and shared my own ideas during conversations. By engaging with others perspectives, I was able to see topics from different angles, which strengthened my critical thinking skills. I believe my participation helped create a positive and collaborative writing community. Being willing to share my thoughts and respond respectfully to others made our classroom feel more interactive and supportive. One accomplishment I am particularly proud of this semester is completing my annotated bibliography and argumentative essay. The annotated bibliography allowed me to carefully examine and organize my sources, which helped me better understand the foundation of my argument. Sharing my sources and seeing how they connected to my thesis gave me confidence in my research and writing process. Completing the argumentative essay was meaningful to me because it showed how much I had grown. I was able to construct a clear argument, support it with evidence, and organize my ideas more effectively than I had in previous writing assignments. Throughout this course, I learned an important lesson about myself as a writer: writing is a process. It is not about being perfect on the first draft, but about revising, reflecting, and improving. I surprised myself by becoming more comfortable with feedback and revisions. Instead of seeing corrections as criticism, I began to view them as opportunities to grow. This change in perspective helped me become more confident in my abilities. The personal decisions I made this semester also impacted my performance. I made a conscious effort to manage my time better and prioritize my schoolwork. By planning ahead and avoiding procrastination, I reduced stress and was able to complete assignments thoughtfully. Looking back, I believe I made good choices overall. Staying consistent and responsible allowed me to maintain steady progress throughout the course. As I move forward into my next set of courses, the habits I developed in ENG 111 will continue to benefit me. I plan to replicate my time management strategies and active participation in future classes. I also want to continue improving my writing by focusing on deeper analysis and stronger organization. The growth I experienced this semester has given me a stronger foundation as a student and writer, and I am confident that these skills will positively impact my academic journey moving forward. Overall, ENG 111 helped me see writing as more than just an assignmentit is a skill that develops over time with effort, reflection, and practice. I am proud of the progress I made and excited to continue building on what I have learned. I NEED THIS REWRITTEN
