Huber, D.L., & Joseph, M.L. (2022). Leadership and nursing care management (7th edition). Elsevier Chapter 1: Leadership and management principles. (The equivalent opening chapter in previous editions will be ok).

Or

Downe, S., Byrom, S., & Simpson, L. (2010). Essential midwifery practice: Expertise leadership and collaborative working. Wiley. Chapter 1: Midwifery leadership: Theory practice potential.

Or

A reading of your choice that discusses leadership and management principles. (A published article or book chapter).

Write a short academic piece in which you identify two insights about leadership and/or management that you gained from your reading (in the preliminary task). Support your insights by drawing on relevant academic points from your reading (source material). Please cite the relevant source/s throughout and be sure to reference your work using APA 7.
