Each QCQ must include the following four labeled sections: Source Information Quote Comment Question(s) (MY TOPIC IS JUVENILE CRIMES) This week we are going to cover our focus on serious crimes and how we use violence as entertainment. By the end of the week (Sunday at 11:59pm), you need to complete two assignments: QCQ 4 and QCQ 5. These two QCQs are dedicated to television or YouTube Segments. However, I want to open this up a bit more and say that if you want to use a YouTube video that covers a specific case you are studying, I will allow it instead of focusing too narrowly on whether media bias leans a specific way. For example, a popular YouTuber named Mr. Ballen often recounts crime stories that his audiences use as entertainment. In this video, he tells the story of Jayme Closs’s abduction which would work for the topic of Kidnapping ( ). There are tons of these examples because society loves a good “true crime” story and we often use these as the reality, when it is just a celebrated case.
