The PowerPoint presentation should consist of approximately 12 20 slides.
The content should be as follows:
- First slide is the creative title of your presentation and your name
- The heart of the presentation should include: (Not all articles have all of these elements)
- Why you chose this topic
- What is the research question they are trying to answer?
- What (if any) hypothesis(es) are presented?
- What is the independent variable?
- What is the dependent variable?
- How was the study done What is the experimental design?
- What statistical analysis did they use to interpret their data?
- What is the null hypothesis?
- What is the alternative hypothesis?
- What charts or graphics, if any, were part of the study and what do they show? (Hint: this can be hard)
- What did the study conclude?
- What is the TLDR summary of this study?
- What are the limitations of this study (other than a small N)? How could they be fixed?
- What sort of study do you think should be performed in the future to find out more about this topic?
- The last slide is the APA formatted citation of the article.
Requirements:
- The minimum font size you may use is 32 the bigger the better. The more words that are on your slide, the less people will read.
