A. Briefly summarize in your own words what that other group discovered and conveyed in their presentation slides. Ensure you cite and reference the sources for the information you include (i.e., the sources that the group has drawn ondo not cite the presentation itself!). This means that you will have to go to the source(s) that they cite and reference and ensure that the information you share in your journal entry accurately reflects the source.
B. Find and use one high quality source external to the course materials and use it to go beyond the information provided in the target group’s presentation. Your external source must be one good academic/scientific source such as a high quality book chapter or peer-reviewed journal article (by contrast, your source should not be some non-academic/scientific source that is meant for popular consumption). You must read this source, make effective use of it in your writing, and explain how it extends beyond the work in the target group’s presentation. Cite and reference the source in APA format as usual.
