PowerPoint assignment

1)Choose one of the 13 categories of special education listed in your textbook, (i.e., autism, learning disabilities, etc.) other than the one selected for assignment #2. 2)Create a 10-15 slide PowerPoint or Prezi, etc. presentation following the outline of your textbook 3)It should include the definition, the causation, the prevalence, the diagnosis/assessment of the disability, the educational considerations. What can teachers do in the classroom to assist students with this disability in the classroom? 4)Provide a list and description of at least educational strategies that would be helpful and provide references. 5)How can the teacher assist this student socially in the classroom? How can the teacher differentiate for learning, how can the teacher help the student become fully included in the classroom? What types of accommodations/modifications must the teacher need to make to assist the student in the classroom? Provide references and web links that will be helpful to your peers You must use 4-5 references other than your textbook. Use in-text citations and a reference list.
