Policy and advocacy assignment

Select a community health issue that evokes passion in you. Research the facts about the issue and select an appropriate political figure to which you will compose a factual letter advocating for community health as it relates to your chosen issue. Handwritten letters will not be accepted. The structure of the letter must follow that of the following link. This exercise is intended to create the opportunity for students to explore the complexities of advocacy considering commitments to both patientcentered care and safety.
