peer summary review

Choose two classmates drafts to review. Respond with at least 150200 words per review. If a draft already has two reviews, please move on to those with no reviews or only one review. Use the following questions to guide your feedback:

Summary Section:

• Is the summary clear and objective?
• Does the writer cover the main ideas of the source text accurately?
• Do you feel like you understand the original essay just from their summary?

Response Section:

• Does the writer clearly express their reaction, opinion, or analysis?
• Are their thoughts well-supported with examples, reasoning, or personal connections?
• Do they stay focused and avoid repeating the summary?

Overall Structure and Style:

• Is there a clear thesis statement?
• Do the ideas flow logically from one paragraph to the next?
• Is the essay easy to read, with mostly clear sentences and transitions?

MLA Format:

• Does the paper follow basic MLA guidelines (header, in-text citation, font, spacing)?
• Is there a Works Cited entry for the source essay?
