Organizational design and external factors

How do external factors (e.g., market trends, competition, technology) influence organizational design? Discuss how an organization successfully adapted its design to an external change. Guidelines for Discussion Participation: Post Original Response: Each student is expected to answer the discussion question with a well-thought-out post, referencing at least one real-world business example or case study to support their viewpoint. Word Count: Each original post should be at least 300 words, demonstrating critical thinking and application of course content. Critique Peer Posts: Each student should select one peer’s post to critique, offering constructive feedback, asking probing questions, or providing additional insights based on their own research or experiences. The critique should be at least 150 words. Deadline: All posts and critiques are due by 11:59pm ET on Monday. Grading: Each discussion assignment is worth 20 points, evaluated based on the depth of analysis, engagement with course materials, and quality of peer critiques, with 10 points awarded for the original post and 10 points for the critique of a peers post.
