To start understanding organizational behavior inside your chosen company or institution, you first need to see the connections between the various parts of the organization including the people and teams. This activity will help you organize this information, so you can delve deeper into your organizational culture for the summative assessment.
Using the Organizational Culture Assessment tool, evaluate an organization of your choosing (i.e. company/institution, non-profit association, volunteer group, church, etc.). Choose an organization that you have profound knowledge of; this will be needed as you work through this courses assessments. You may NOT be able to glean the knowledge needed from an organization you choose off the internet (but have never worked/volunteered with).
Using the Organizational Culture Assessment tool, evaluate an organization of your choosing (i.e. company/institution, non-profit association, volunteer group, church, etc.). You will use the tool below to assess the people, departments, attitudes, and culture within the organization.
You only need to fill in the selected boxes on the tool and submit.
You must maintain the same organization for each of these assessments and develop each of these areas as you go. The more you work with the same organization, the more you will be able to see how each of these areas are interconnected. Plus, you will use information that you gather across this course to develop your final summative assessment project.
