The research focuses on the organizational and managerial models of eSports in Italy, considered as an emerging and still weakly structured sector. The study analyses how selected Italian eSports organizations attempt to structure their activities, manage their resources, and maintain operational continuity within a limited and fragmented national market. What is or are your Research Questions? Main Research Question: How are Italian eSports organizations structured and managed within an emerging and underdeveloped market? Secondary Research Questions: How does digital innovation influence the organizational and managerial practices of Italian eSports teams? What critical issues emerge when eSports organizations operate outside traditional sport management frameworks? What is the Provisional Title of your Dissertation? Managing eSports in Italy: An Organizational Perspective What kind of research approach (methodology) are you likely to use? The dissertation adopts a qualitative research approach based on case study analysis. The study examines a small number of Italian eSports organizations through document analysis and semi-structured interviews, with the aim of exploring organizational structures, managerial practices, and sustainability-related challenges in an emerging sector.
