Oral Presentation

Individual Oral Presentation Video/Audio: You have immersed yourself into studying various aspects of the US healthcare system. You have written about and discussed several of the components of the system and explored ways to address fragmented care, such as in Module 5: Mental Health Integration.

Using the Quadruple AIM (IHI) as your presentation organizing framework, present current gaps and challenges in the US Health Care Delivery System. Use PowerPoint or other easily accessible presentation format that includes your audio narration of each slide. There is a 10-slide maximum for the presentation.

1. Provide a brief overview of IHIs Quadruple Aim framework, with specifics on each of the 4 Aims including 1) Improving patient experience (Quality), 2) Cost, 3) Population Health (Access) and 4) Improving Provider Satisfaction.
2. Identify and present two (2) current gaps/challenges which align with one or more of the Aims 4 elements.
3. Identify the key stakeholders in these gaps/challenges and utilize data as appropriate.
4. Provide one (1) idea that may help address one of your identified gaps/challenges. The ideas need be no more than a thoughtful brief explanation. If you have a small test of change example (best practice) based upon your research, cite the source.
5. Minimum of three (3) sources must be cited.
