This week you will begin working on your final project that will be completed and due in Week 5. This week you will choose your topic and complete the prescribed number of PowerPoint slides detailed below, in addition to an introductory slide.
Go to Healthy People 2030 () and choose a topic for your final presentation. The topic that you choose this week should be a different topic than you used in week 1 and the week 2 discussion.
- Identify the Healthy People 2030 objective chosen by you. Describe the issue and the population(s) affected by this issue. (1 slide)
- Discuss the problem addressed in the chosen objective, and the goals that the objective seeks to achieve. (1 slide)
- Discuss the epidemiology, incidence, prevalence, and cost-burden of the problem from a national perspective AND from the perspective of the state in which you reside. How does your state compare to the national data regarding the problem that you chose? (2 to 3 slides).
Specific Instructions:
- Your PowerPoint should begin with an introductory slide containing the name of the presentation, your name and credentials, Your course name and number, and your professors name.
- Your PowerPoint slides must contain organized information and professional verbiage. Use of bullet points and headings is a great way to do this.
- Each slide must contain presenters notes that provide a script that you might use in presenting the information.
- Make sure to us in-text citations on the slides where appropriate and include a reference slide at the end of the presentation. You should be adding to your reference slide with each weeks submission.
- As always, formatting and grammar must follow APA 7 guidelines.
