The task is to rebuild the Knob (Fillet tutorial) from scratch in SOLIDWORKS and prepare the final PDF properly.
Here are the requirements I must follow:
- Open a NEW part and rebuild the knob step by step (not using the old tutorial file).
- Assign material: ABS.
- Go to Evaluate Mass Properties (mass should be around 10.01 grams).
For the Word/PDF document:
- Insert screenshots of four views:
Top
Front
Right
Isometric
In the Isometric view, Hidden Lines Visible must be turned ON.
- For Mass Properties:
- Do NOT take a screenshot.
- Use Copy to Clipboard.
- Paste the full Mass Properties text.
- Make only the mass value bold (no highlight, no underline).
- Make a small design change (for example increase diameter by 5 mm), then:
- Insert updated four views
- Paste updated full Mass Properties
- Make the new mass value bold
- Add a sentence like:
I increased the diameter from 75 mm to 80 mm.
Final file must be one PDF named exactly:
Lab5_yourinitials.pdf
