Assignment: This speech is designed to persuade the audience of a proposition, fact, value or policy. This assignment requires considerable research and skillful handling of methods of persuasion. Choose an issue of significance or problem in which you believe. You may pick any topic, but the instructor must approve it. Please consider your audience and setting when picking your persuasive topic. You will be using Monroes motivated sequence organizational patterns in order to reach your persuasive goal. Please pick a topic that you feel is important but can move/persuade your audience in the time limit provided. This speech gives you an opportunity to affect the attitudes and/or behaviors of your audience. Remember your topic must be something that your audience will view as relative!!!!!

Guidelines:

-5-6 minutes

-Sources: minimum of 5 sources (3 of which can be Internet) You must have a variety of types of sources

-typed, double spaced, and in complete sentences outline

-complete bibliography in APA format

-audience of 5 adults
