For this assignment, you will take on the role of a CAC Company representative and prepare a summary for an arbitration hearing. This assignment is designed to demonstrate your ability to handle complex situations by providing solid support for your positions. Assignment Instructions

Your summary should include the following sections:

• Demographics of CAC Employees
• Include the average pay rates for different employee groups hourly and salaried.
• Summarize how long employees have typically worked for CAC.
• List the common job titles and roles held within the company.
• Total Labor Costs
• Calculate the total labor cost, which includes wages, Paid Time Off, and benefits.
• Current Contract Terms
• Summarize the key terms of the current labor contract that will expire at the end of this month. Be sure to include important clauses, such as pay structure, benefits, and any unique terms that impact employees or management.
• Future Negotiations
• Discuss any potential challenges or issues that could arise in future negotiations. Address relevant factors like labor demands, management’s position, and industry trends.
• Demands in Arbitration
• List and summarize the demands from both labor and management that will be addressed during the arbitration hearing.
• Overview of Arbitration Outcome
• Provide a detailed summary of the outcome of the arbitration regarding labor costs and demands. Focus on how contract costs were addressed, what labor demands were satisfied, and the final agreement reached via arbitration.
