Mobile Health Application Proposal

Throughout this course you have learned about big data, cloud computing, visual analytics, and population health surveillance. This week you will focus on developing a proposal for a mobile health (mHealth) application. You will identify a public health initiative and/or problem and propose a mobile health app that will support the initiative. Support may include support services, data collection, data monitoring, measurement, and/or information. You will provide research on the public health initiative identifying the need for the app and the target population. This proposal will start the foundation for your final project in the course.

In your paper proposal,

• Propose a mobile health (mHealth) application.
• Identify the purpose of the mHealth application.
• Identify the target population.
• Identify the significance of the mHealth application.
• Analyze the impact the application can have on a public health initiative.
