All group members are to prepare their section of the video, and each person in the group needs to discuss their BIG challenge/s in the video and ensure it relates to your hotel ONLY. Your face must appear on the slides you are talking about. Each student’s name, number and challenge/s must appear on the first slide. The time limit for the total video is 10 minutes (+-10%). Videos outside these parameters by more than 15 seconds will be penalised by 10% (2 marks) per minute. This penalty will be the same for each group member. Your video must run automatically from start to finish. The quality of the video is vital. Examples of good and bad videos will be discussed in class. The quality is assessed in the rubric, and the same mark for this section will be given to each group member, so ensure you watch and check each person’s section. All sections of the video must be based on in-depth research. No academic journal articles are to be part of this project. Definitions are not required. Every slide in your presentation is required to contain intext citations. If these are missing, you may be reported to the Academic Integrity Unit. BIG challenges will be discussed in class both in the RMIT University visiting lecturer’s classes and the local lecturers’ classes. Please ensure you follow the brief. This assessment will measure the following areas. (refer to rubric below) The 5 star hotel you group researched in Assessment 1 is the same for Assessment 2. The video discussion must be based on in-depth research, not merely a description. As such, it requires citations on each slides and a Reference List on the last slide/s. This reference list is not discussed. The video finishes with these reference list slide/s. All Videos must cover these sections: Describe the top 5 BIG challenges that this 5-star hotel is currently facing in 2026. Ensure your video is high quality and appropriate for your recommendations. Level of preparation and effort: Clarity of speech and ability to keep to time, engagement of your materials, use of multimedia and visuals The final slide/s are the Reference List.
