In not less than 3-5 pages, you will describe a disease process which impacts the musculoskeletal system. Now, we have learned separately about the muscular system and the skeletal system, so this is your chance to demonstrate integration of concepts. In your paper, be sure you address the following: 1. 2. What is the disease you have selected? Does it impact primarily the muscular system (with resultant impact on the skeletal system), or does it primarily impact the skeletal system (with resultant impact on the muscular system). 3. Describe how the pathological (disease) process at work represents a deviation from normal anatomy and physiology. 4. Examine the ultimate impact of this disease on the human body (that is, what can the human no longer do, or do well, as a result of this disease). Incorporate class readings into your paper. Be certain to include appropriate reference citations into your paper. You will need to do further research on the topic beyond what was provided in class.
