Methods Presentation Assignment Instructions

Overview

You will create a 1520 slide presentation explaining, comparing, and contrasting the following second language teaching methods: Communicative Language Teaching, Task-Based Language Teaching, Content-Based Language Teaching.

Instructions

The following must be included in your presentation for each method:

Full title and explanation of the method

Examples of how the method is used in the classroom: this is something you create or link to an applicable example (YouTube or internet link)

Advantages and Disadvantages to each method

Opinion on what you decide is the most beneficial to TESL/FL

10 sources total must be used (1 can include the textbook): Remember, only opinions do not need sources. Everything else must be grounded in literature/research from scholarly sources. Additionally, remember to site your sources within each slide as well as a Reference slide at the end.

All citations and references must use current APA format.
