Overview For this assignment, you will be assigned to a team with other classmates to develop a marketing plan for an innovative new product or product extension. Remember that a product can be a good, a service, or an idea. You will have an assignment each module that will allow you to develop the part of the marketing plan that integrates the concepts learned that module. Action Items Read the Overview of Innovative Product Project. Review the grading rubric (below). Write your final marketing plan: Review, revise, and condense the entire plan as needed for clarity, flow, thoroughness, writing style, citations, and appropriate use of marketing terminology, as guided by: Grading feedback from your instructor on your marketing briefs from Modules 2 to 5, and your Module 5 Marketing Metrics and Analytics discussion post, and Modifications to the plan you and your teammates may have determined to be needed throughout the course. Compile the final plan and convert it to academic paper format using the Academic Paper Guidelines. In the final plan, you should also: Write an Executive Summary. Your Executive Summary is a succinct 1-page double-spaced summary of your entire document. Busy executives may often only have time to read your Executive Summary, so it should give them a concise snapshot of what they need to know for decision-making purposes. Include in-text citations and a final reference page. Include an appendix that has a mock-up of your innovative product. Limit the body of your final marketing plan (excluding the cover page, Executive Summary, reference page, and appendices) so it does not exceed 10 to 15 double-spaced pages in length. Check your writing style by using Grammarly. Correct your marketing plan as needed. Team representative only: Submit the completed first draft of your assignment.
