Instructions:

1. Define Your Goals: Start by pinpointing the industry or role you’re targeting. Write a paragraph explaining your choice and what you hope to achieve in your career path.
2. Develop Your Research Plan: Whether you’re seeking a job in your chosen field or exploring opportunities to start your own business, it’s crucial to understand the landscape of the industry. Research the skills/needs currently in demand and identify growth opportunities within the market. Outline how you found this information, whether through online research, networking, or industry reports.
3. Gather and Analyze the Data: Based on your research, summarize 2 details you discovered that directly impact your personal career goals and how you will address them. For example, if you are interested in pursuing a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion role at Google but discovered Google recently cut this program in 2024, how would you pivot?
4. Develop Your Outreach Strategy With your research and analysis, map out a strategy for outreach. Decide which companies or investors youll target, identify potential roles, and plan how you’ll customize your applications or business pitch.

Compile your work into a comprehensive presentation that clearly articulates your full strategy based on the market research you’ve conducted. The final presentation must be submitted in slide format, using tools such as Canva, PowerPoint, Google Slides, or similar platforms.
