Edward Freeman discusses aligning with enterprise goals/objectives and then using this context to partner with internal stakeholders across the organization. Course Project Milestone 1: Management Theories Hide Assignment Information Instructions In the course’s first milestone, we will begin by Identifying and analyzing the management theories that most closely resemble the leadership practices within your organization. You will construct a 3-4 page analysis in proper APA formatting using the concepts from this week’s reading as well as additional external research. In this submission, you will: Identify 2-3 management theories that best reflect your organizations approach to leadership, and consider that different departments or levels of organizational leadership may have different – or blended – approaches. Describe how the management theories are implemented, provide specific examples or experiences to support your points, and reinforce them with references (minimum of 4). Assess how these theories align with the organization’s goals and values, considering relative strengths and opportunities for improvement. Reflect on how the organization’s current leadership approach influences decision making, company culture, team dynamics and overall organizational effectiveness.
