Literary Analysis Assignment Part 1

this week’s assignment is PART 1 of the Literary Analysis Assignment for The Pedestrian (1951) by Ray Bradbury. Attached a bit further below is a worksheet to be completed for PART 1 of the Literary Analysis Assignment. It will ask students to complete a brief overall plan for a Literary Analysis. It will ask students to complete an in-depth plan of the FIRST PART of an outlined essay. This is a chance for students to being thinking about a literary analysis essay, and to allow all of you to ease into the groove of writing. It’s a little nudge, if you will, into getting students started on literary analysis. Students will continue this process for the rest of this plan next week, and all parts will be submitted then for a final grade. The same process will be repeated in Part 1 and Part 2. This will be the plan that students will then use to compose their Global Revision Essay introduced in Week 7 of the course (and due Week 10).
