Lit review

After narrowing down the topic and getting approval from the instructor, you will find and read

academic literature related to your topic. Use library resources, journal databases, Google

scholar, and other tools to find some papers that help you understand the theory, methods,

questions, or existing findings related to your question. They can be empirical or conceptual

papers, but they should be academic (no blogs, videos, etc.). If you do not find any papers that

look at exactly the same thing as what you want to do, look for ones that cover something related

that will help you improve your own project. Clearly state your research topic and question at the start of the document. Choose 2 papers.

Write a few paragraphs (no more than one page) summarizing the most important takeaways

from the papers you read. Make sure to talk about how this information from your literature

review helps inform the project you want to do. In the paragraphs, use in-text citations, and

include full references in APA style on the next page.
