Leader Profile Paper

Assignment Overview:

This assignment is designed to help you begin planning and researching your Leader Profile Paper early in the semester. You will select a leader to profile and identify credible sources that will support your analysis of their leadership and communication abilities. Completing this assignment will provide a strong foundation for your final paper. Review the Leader Profile paper guidelines in Course Content and Course Resources.

Assignment Instructions:

• Select a Leader:
• Choose a leader you plan to profile for your Leader Profile Paper.
• Important: You cannot select the leaders provided as examples in the course materials.
• Write 25 sentences explaining why you selected this leader and why their leadership is of interest to you.
• Create an Annotated Bibliography:
• Include 35 credible references that you plan to use in your final paper.
• Each reference should include:
• Proper APA 7th edition citation
• A brief annotation (35 sentences) describing:
• A summary of the source content
• How the source relates to your leader and your paper
• Evidence that you have read and understand the source
• Sources can include scholarly articles, books, or credible professional publications.
• Topic Flexibility:
• If you need to change your selected leader after submitting this assignment, contact the instructor for approval.

• Font & Spacing: Times New Roman, 12-point font, double-spaced
• APA Format: Follow APA 7th edition for citations, references, and formatting
• Clarity & Detail: Ensure annotations demonstrate thoughtful engagement with each source
